Free X Video Saver ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding data collection and usage in connection with our Chrome extension.

1. Data Collection and Transmission

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data, browsing history, or private information. All operations are performed locally on your computer.

2. Permissions and Purpose of Use

To deliver our video downloading features, the extension requests the following permissions:

• activeTab: Used solely to identify and interact with the currently active tab when you click the extension popup or action buttons on supported domains (x.com and twitter.com).
• downloads: Used to initiate and manage the download of public video/GIF files directly to your local downloads folder.
• storage: Used to store temporary settings and a local cache of video URLs mapped to Tweet IDs to prevent duplicate API requests and improve parsing speeds.
• Host Permissions (x.com, twitter.com, video.twimg.com): Required to insert download buttons into X/Twitter pages, parse raw video stream links from player components, and fetch the video files directly from Twitter's CDN.

3. Data Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or transfer any user information to third parties. We do not use user data for advertising, credit scoring, or lending purposes.

• 主机访问权限 (x.com, twitter.com, video.twimg.com)：用于在推特页面中智能嵌入下载按钮，读取视频元素底层的播放链接，并直接从推特的官方 CDN 服务器下载对应的媒体文件。

3. 数据披露与合规声明

我们绝不会向任何第三方出售、转让或传输用户数据。本插件绝不收集任何数据用于广告展示、信用度评估或商业贷款目的。
